Shampoo Bar FAQs:

How long will it last?
It should last for 20-30 washes if kept dry in between uses.
Will it remove dandruff and cure hair fall?
Causes for hair fall and dandruff are rooted in improper diet, hormonal imbalances and scalp problems. Shampoos can help to a certain extent but can never cure the problem. Many of our customers have shared feedback about how our shampoo bars have helped them treat scalp and hair issues, but it's not a claim we can officially make.
Do I need to condition my hair afterwards?
Yes you can definitely condition your hair post shampooing with our shampoo bars, but stay clear of synthetic conditioners. Use natural conditioners like a green tea rinse, apple cider vinegar rinse, hibiscus leaf paste or coconut milk. You can also find some recipes in our Happyness Handbook. Our body butters also work as a leave-in conditioner.
Will it work if I oil my hair before shampooing?
Oiling before shampoo is a good practice. You may need to shampoo 2-3 times to remove the oil completely
How often can I use it?
Feel free to wash your hair as often as you wish to, even daily if required
Can I bathe with it?
Definitely! It works equally well for all sexes.
Why does it melt so quickly?
Glycerine makes our soaps softer than most commercial soaps, but with the right care our soaps can be made to last for a long time.
Why does my shampoo have beads of water droplets on it?
This phenomenon is known as "sweating" and is normal during humid weather. Glycerine present in our soaps is a humectant and draws moisture to itself which results in beads of water on the surface. Sweating is a sign of a good, moisturizing soap.
Can it be used on kids?
Suitable for teenagers, kids, babies but not infants
Can guys use this?
Definitely! It works equally well for all sexes.
Can this be used on dogs?
Yes! Our shampoo bars are a great alternative to chemical pet shampoos and don’t pose a risk even if the dog licks the lather (our dogs do that). We bathe our dogs with our shampoo bars - they love it and we love how soft their fur gets!
Which shampoo bar should I use?
Most people try out all three shampoo bars to find their favourite. Some even alternate between 2 shampoo bars to keep the scalp guessing. Here are a few basic guideline to help you select: Dry brittle hair: coconut milk hair & body bar For oily hair and dandruff: henna shampoo bar Dry hair and dandruff: beer and aloe shampoo bar
