This soap paste has been used for ages by Moroccan women as a part of the traditional hammam ritual. It has been made with a base of olive oil and argan oil which moisturize the skin, leaving it super smooth and nourished it as it is rich in vitamin E.
This soap paste is extremely low lathering and has a distinct earthy fragrance and is extremely effective in getting rid of dead skin and tan.
WHY SHOULD YOU SWITCH TO BOH SOAPS?
We often get ‘green-washed’ by terms like “organic” and “all-natural”. As they don’t have a regulated definition, companies often use these labels indiscriminately to induce you to buy. However, many of these so-called “natural” products contain synthetic fragrances, the compounds in which remain undisclosed and are unregulated. To see what we mean, go and ahead and inspect the ingredients of any mainstream skincare products and even those so called “Ayurvedic, natural products” you use! You’ll be surprised at the number of chemicals you’ll find. Research shows that such compounds harm your hormonal and respiratory system. So be cautious of products without a complete ingredient list or that merely mention ‘key ingredients’.

Water and Saponified olive oil and argan oil
All soaps and shampoos are saponified using sodium hydroxide (lye). However, there is no lye in the final bar of soap as it gets consumed during the saponification process. It isn’t possible to make any soap (be it handmade or commercial) without lye, and if someone tells you otherwise, they are either misinformed or not admitting the truth Read more about how we make soaps and shampoos.
